Chef Michael Feker is the dynamic founder and executive chef of Il Mito Restaurant Group and the Chef Michael Feker School of Culinary Magic. Chef Feker and Il Mito are renowned throughout the region.

Chef Feker has a unique ability to combine the chemistry of classical French cuisine with the ingredients of Italian cuisine, resulting in delicious, flavorful food. Each item on the menu is created and prepared with love and passion, making it clear that Chef Feker was meant to be in the kitchen.

Located adjacent to Chef Feker’s Il Mito restaurant in Wauwatosa at 6917 W. North Avenue, The School of Culinary Magic, features top-of-the-line equipment provided by Kohler, Dupont, Decora, Wolf and Sub-Zero. In its 600-square-feet of workspace, the school comfortably hosts 40 guests in four different cooking stations. Surrounded by warm-hued tile, gleaming industrial-grade equipment and rich granite, the kitchen is more than just a chef’s dream; it is also a calm and inviting refuge.

The School of Culinary Magic offers a menu of cooking classes and events that give guests the choice of preparing a meal under Chef Feker’s guidance or allows them to watch and enjoy the mastery of Chef Feker’s culinary skills as he creates a meal for them in the open kitchen, while guests sit at his infamous Chef’s Counter.

Guests who desire hands-on cooking instruction can enroll in a variety of classes including one-on-one hourly sessions, group lessons over lunch, or corporate team-building events. In addition, Chef Feker will open his school for special evenings such as the Wines of The Region dinner, in which he prepares a fabulous three-course meal and is joined by a wine connoisseur who selects and discusses a complementary wine choice.
